About Tangotación!

Tangotación! is dedicated to handmade tango and salsa shoes from Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
We are a new company: we started importing danceshoes in june 2008.

Our mission is to be were the action is: we visit milonga's, salons, parties, festivals and dance lessons.

Tangoshoes only?

Danceschoes from Buenos Aires en Montevideo maybe known as tangoschoenen, but why not dance salsa or ballroom on them? These shoes are definitly better and more beautifull then european danceshoes.

Quality and craftmanship

Our shoes are exclusivily from Buenos Aires and Montevideo. There is more than one reason for that. These cities are practicly build on dancing. The shoemakers here come from a long line of creators of "zapatos par bailar" knowledge of dancers needs is a good thing. Also, the leather is superior and the designs are very stylish. We are proud to bing you these shoes.


In 2008 we went to Buenos Aires and Montevideo and visited almost all known brands'stores and factories, bought test shoes everywere and made our selections based on quality, price, design and durability. So, when you don't see a certain brand here, they did'nt qualify to the above in one or more ways.
